Oh Maxie....

We have all received sad news that one of the best spots in NY's Lower East Side will be closing its doors and relocating to a new venue in a few months due to soaring rents. This place was indeed a staple of that town and will be greatly missed by many derelicts. It was the one spot where you were guaranteed to see someone you knew posted up at the bar, good music blaring and cute people buzzing about.

Here's a photo with my two besties in NY circa '07, Victoria, me and Daria. We spent many nights in this legend vortex of a space good ol'e Max Fish, RIP.

Trying to get my hands on the images but here's a good article in the Times about the spreading Tranny fashion trend. A tran once told me in NY, never keep a bad picture of yourself, ever. Rip it up! She was onto something.
